Whether you are starting from the beginning, returning after time away, or preparing for your practical test — lessons are delivered with straightforward guidance, an organised method and clear, visible progress throughout.
Progress & Total Drive
Lessons are supported by the Total Drive app, which keeps lesson records, progress and key points organised throughout your time as a learner.
Once onboard, you will receive access to the app, giving you a clear view of where you are, what has been covered, and what comes next.
Learn more about Total Drive →A Professional, Structured Approach
Before becoming an ADI, I spent many years in roles focused on people development, which has shaped the way I teach and support progress.
Lessons are delivered with clear, focused guidance and adapted to the individual. Progress is built across the full range of driving skills in a steady, structured way, so you can see what has been covered, where you are up to, and what comes next.
The aim is not only to prepare people for their test, but to help them become confident, capable and safe drivers in everyday conditions. Lessons are calm, structured and consistent, so you always know where you stand and what comes next.
"Pauline is an exceptional instructor. I had the privilege of being among her initial students when she was a trainee driving instructor. She demonstrates a remarkable ability to understand diverse learning styles and skillfully adapts her teaching methods to meet each student's individual needs. Pauline is highly supportive and encouraging. I would strongly recommend her services!"— Millie Westwood
How I Teach
My approach is to understand what works best for each person, provide a clear structure, and keep lessons focused and practical.
Some people prefer step-by-step guidance. Others like to get moving and build confidence through practice. Lessons are centred on this from the outset.
Explanations and feedback are straightforward, so you know what is going well, what needs attention, and what comes next.
Pace, explanations and support are adjusted according to the individual, so lessons remain focused, manageable and productive.
Mistakes are part of progress. Lessons are calm and focused, giving you room to practise, correct things and improve.
When the aim is test preparation, lessons can be direct and focused. Where a steadier route is appropriate, that is equally supported. In both cases, the goal is confident, capable driving beyond test day.
Lessons are professional and purposeful, but there is always room for a relaxed, human approach along the way.
